Chopin Restaurant, Toronto, ON

Tonight I had supper with friends at Chopin Restaurant on Roncesvalles Avenue. We had met in early 2005 in boxing classes Yvette used to teach and have started to get together every month or so (here's July's supper).

It was Beata's turn to pick a restaurant and she chose Polish, in honour of her heritage. It was great to catch up and have some laughs!

Trish, Teena, Beata, Yvette and Susan

Looks like great fun! I've never been to a Polish restaurant before.

Looks like you had a great time. Did anyone have the perogies? They are outstanding.

You missed a good time, Mon! Yvette had cabbage rolls. Trish had perogies. Susan had a combo plate of Polish delights. I had the traditional chicken parm and pasta. Ha! And Beata, being the only Polish person among us, had the traditional club sandwich. Ha! Ha!

Lisa: I don't have a lot of Polish food so had forgotten what to expect. Schnitzels, cabbage rolls, perogies, etc. are popular.
