Tourtières

Gord made a couple tourtières this afternoon. We had one for supper tonight and will have the other tomorrow.

They are very delish and are basically ground beef and pork, mashed potatoes and a bunch of spices mixed up together and then baked in a pie crust. A similar recipe to his is here.

Poptart: Gord put the heart on it. What a sweetie! The other one has a "T" on it ... though I may share it with him :)

Looks like Gord is a great cook! The heart is very cute. :-) Sounds yummy, except the pork part. LOL

I think a nice thing to do next time is have Gord make an extra one for your neighbour. I hear they are always looking for free and yummy food. :-)

Gord is an excellent cook!

Mon: It's too bad our neighbours are moving soon. Perhaps he'll make a couple for their housewarming party.

Izzy: Gord doesn't put cream in it ... he puts mashed potatoes and bread crumbs in it instead.
