Annapolis Valley, NS

Sister Sarah and I drove to Annapolis Valley today. It's about an hour's drive from Halifax.

We stopped in Wolfville at Paddy's Brew Pub for lunch.

Then we drove to Cape Blomidon (abut 15 minutes away) to the lookoff. Alas, it was a cold rainy day so there wasn't much to see.

On a clear day, you can see the Bay of Fundy.

Then we headed to Blomidon Park (back down the "mountain") and walked to the water's edge.

Despite the rain, it was beautiful!

The tide was out so we had a long way to go. It was pouring rain and windy by this time but we persevered.

Look how far we had to go!

We made it! Look how far we walked!

Me ~ cold and wet!
