Canada Day Pub Walk

Gord and I stayed in our 'hood to celebrate Canada Day.

We stopped for a couple drinks on the Skypad at the Drake. Gord has resumed his mojoto battle while I had a sangria (so-so) and a Red Geisha.

Then we went to the Gladstone. They have a bar on the side that we've wanted to check out but there's always been a function going on. We were happy to see that they have kept the brickwork and windows.

We had supper at the Cadillac Lounge. No prime rib or fish today so we had burgers (beef for me, bison for Gord). There was a couple sitting next to us. He ordered chicken wings and ate 'em ... and she cleaned the bones after he was done with them. Ewwww!!!

Finally a couple drinks on the patio at the Rhino.

Looks like you guys had a fun day. The pictures came out good. Joey and I were looking at cameras this weekend. He wants me to have one and I'm looking at another.

  4. I would love to live somewhere I could just walk to the pubs and do a pub crawl in beautiful weather. We have the weather part, just not the pubs. Looks like you had a wonderful day of it.
