Crockpot barbecued meatballs, made with frozen prepared meatballs or your own homemade meatball recipe.
3 pounds frozen meatballs
2 medium onions, cut in wedges
1 bottle beer, 12 ounces
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar
Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours.
About 96 meatballs. Also, you can use your own homemade meatballs, first browned in oven or skillet.
I used frozen chicken meatballs and forgot to buy onions so left them out. It's the first time I've used a crockpot. And I served them with brown rice. They turned out yummy and I would make them again.
And I got out my bread machine and made some white bread to go along with supper.
I'm pretty much crockpot-obsessed and I love making swedish meatballs.

That looks so good! I got a slow cooker for my birthday last year. So far I have made soups, but I really should branch out a little more!
