Today was the first day of our cruise. Sister Sarah and I aree part of the Single Horizons group (there are 59 of us).
Our cruise on the Crown Princess started and ended in San Juan and Sister Sarah and I were meeting there. She was flying from Halifax via New York. I was flying via Philadelphia. We were both to arrive in San Juan about 2:30.
Despite the snow storm yesterday, my flight to Philadelphia took off on time. Yay! And my Philadepelphia to San Juan flight got me in right on schedule.
Sister Sarah, though, wasn't so lucky. Her Halifax to New York flight was cancelled. So they flew her to Boston, then to New York and finally to San Juan. She was five hours late in arriving ... but she got there! Yay!
I managed to keep myself occupied by grabbing a bite to eat, exploring the ship and laying by the pool.

When Sister Sarah arrived, we headed to the Horizon Court, one of the all-you-can-eat buffets. I'm not a fan of shellfish but Sister Sarah enjoyed the lobster and shrimp (there were crab legs too).
Afterwards, we got a Piña Colada at the outdoor Calypso Bar and watched the boat leave the dock around 11pm.
