Air show

Gord and I walked over to the Brazen Head for lunch. Our intent was to hang out and watch the air show. We discovered that they have the upper patios closed because it's a long weekend.

Huh?!

So after we ate, we walked towards the air show and ended up on the patio of Cafe Jolly (Dufferin/King W). We've walked by it many times but have never stopped in. It's a cute place and we'll be back.

The view was pretty good for the most part. Lots of plans flew right over us!

Plus it was amazing to watch the constant stream of people heading to the Ex.

    This brings back lovely memories. Every year my family would head down to the Ex and Ontario Place to watch this. 'Cause, you know, the best place to watch the airshow is on the hills that overlook the lake next to Ontario Place.
    And then school would start. Sigh.
