I walked to the Ex this afternoon (it's about a 15 minute walk south of us).
I saw the SuperDogs show. Man, those dogs are fast and smart!
I don't play the midway games but there are a lot of them!
I'm a wimp (always have been!) and there's no way I'd go on these rides!
The Tilt-a-Whirl is more my speed, though I didn't go on it.
I had my first Beaver Tail ever. Basically it's a deep-fried flat piece of dough (in the shape of a beaver's tail ... duh!) that is dipped in whatever you want! I had with cinnamon and sugar.
The butter carvings were ... um, interesting.
There were lots of animals, including babies.
Sand sculturing would take a lot of patience!
I wandered around the shopping areas. Lots of great clothing deals if you are young and/or skinny! I bought some stretchy pants for the gym and a polo shirt for Gord ($5 each).
I stopped in at the casino and played/lost $20 on the roulette table. Gord's number came up 2 out of the 4 spins it took me to lose my $$ so he would have won $144 had he been there!
It was a fun afternoon ... I was there for almost five hours!

It looks like there was a lot to see there. The butter and sand exhibits looked interesting. The artists are talented.
Told ya the shopping was goodly :) Love the photos, and yeah those butter sculptures are rather unique!
Ok....... butter sculptures? Looks like a fun time. So many fun and interesting things to see. I'm not a big fan on rides either as I suffer from terrible motion sickness.
A butter pig? Oh my!
