Busy day

Gord is spending the weekend in Colorado for a couple of fencing tournaments.

I got up at 5:30 to drive him to airport at 6:00 (his flight was at 8:00) ... what a great wife I am!

I tried going back to sleep when I got home ... but it wasn't happening. So I headed to the grocery store, Walmart and the library just before 8:00. The grocery store opened at 8:00 and I was in line with a couple of old people.

I cleaned the bathroom, did some laundry and cleaned the top of the fridge after I put the groceries away.

My closet has been bugging me for a while. We have very little space in our condo and I wasn't making the best use of my closet.

So I headed to IKEA and bought a couple of low shelves. They were easy to put together.

Probably not a big deal to you ... but I feel sooooo much better.

I found about 40 knitting magazines in my closet I thought I'd thrown out. I leafed through a couple ... cool patterns. Maybe I'll get inspired to make some stuff. I'm glad I hadn't thrown them out. Yep, there they are under the bottom shelf.

I like the shelves! Life is better when things are organized. Joey wants to get shelves for the closet in the back porch in order to organize the shoes there. Those shelves would be perfect.
