KC's eye ... er, tooth ... update

Gord took KC to the oncologist this morning.

He did a bunch of tests.

Apparently it's not her eye. Her back tooth is cracked and dead and that's what caused the infection.

The oncologist lanced it and squeezed infection out. Yuk!

But the swelling is gone and it's not full of puss anymore. Yay!


She's going to be on meds for a while.

And we have to have her two back teeth pulled.

It looks gross, I know, but sooooo much better.

    Wow, that's interesting how her tooth could affect her eye!

    Glad she's on the mend, the last couple days couldn't of been fun.

    I'm glad to hear it wasn't anything really bad that was causing it. Imagine an infected tooth called all those problems.

    I'm glad you found out quickly what the problem was. Hopefully all will be well when the teeth are pulled. It's hard to see your pet having health problems.

    OMG the poor thing! That looks painful! SO glad it's a tooth issue (easy to pull) and not an eye thing. Seriously. I'm so glad she's going to be okay -- I love her!
