Boxing Babes, Susan, Yvette and Beata (who is visiting from Winnipeg), showed up. It was awesome to see them!

There was a "down home" kind of feeling at the bar. There were stepdancers jumping up and dancing. A couple times, the whole audience got up on the dance floor and everyone held hands and danced and sang.
Gord wore the teeshirt Sister Sarah had given him from A & K Lick-a-Chick (it's a KFC-like restaurant in Bras d'Or, NS).
There were a lot of Cape Bretoners in the audience and Gord's teeshirt was a big hit.
Lick a Chick!! Amanda and I were just talking about that restaurant yesterday! Too funny! There used to be one in Truro when I was a kid.
