Port Dover, ON

Sister Sarah and I drove to Port Dover today (about two hours SW of us).

We had lunch at Willie's,which is a block from the beach.

Even though it was chilly and cloudy, we went to the beach, a block away.

Chia Kitty was sad it was too cold to go swimming.

We walked towards the lighthouse.

We stopped at a monument dedicated to fishermen.

There were some men fishing for perch on the wharf.

Here I am!

There's a cute store called Grand Trunk Station ... I bought some incense.

We went back to the beach. Here's Sister Sarah.

Here's me in the sand.

And Sister Sarah.

This fella didn't mind the cold. Neither did his buddies.

I'd never been before.

I've been to that store also. Mark's family used to go there and Long Point Beach during their family vacations so I got to experience Port Dover quite a few times. - Monica

Glad to see you finally made it to Port Dover!

What was Willies like for food? It was never there when I went when I was younger.
