Finally

I have a tomato turning red.

They are supposed to be cherry tomatoes but they are too big.

My other seven plants (yes, seven!) are doing nothing.

My neighbour next door is on her third crop.

They are still in Japan so I raided her plants again this afternoon (she said I could).

Alas, I'm living vicariously through her.

Getting ripe home grown Tomato's from anywhere is awesome! But yours looks like it will be ripe pretty soon!
BRAVO, My Dear!

They taste better when you grow them yourself. :)

I envy you Teena. I used to love growing tomatoes when we lived in our house. Hard to do that in an apartment though. We used to grow Lemon Boy tomatoes. Bright yellow, sweet and not nearly as acidic as regular red tomatoes.

Hope the rest of yours turn red soon. Nothing beats a toasted tomato sandwich with the tomato right from your own garden.

Perhaps your toms are a later variety and the plants will flourish when your neighbours have finished? :-)

Our human has one cucumber plant..... it produces them at an alarming rate and every meal it is mandatory to eat cucumber! Thank dogness we don't get them as well.

Those tomatoes looked great. That's a good way of saving and at the same eating healthy food. I love those green tomatoes mixed with mayo or ceasar salad dressing, olives, and cucumber.
