There's an
article in today's
Toronto Star about the nutritional value of cereals.
Cereal makers should be ashamed of themselves focusing so much marketing towards children given the obesity levels today!

My fav cereal, Mini-Wheats is on the most nutritious list ... though I like the frosted ones.
What's your favourite cereal?

I'm a fan of oatmeal, the old fashion kind. It did not make the list, surprisingly.
Wow - my fave store cereal is also frosted original Mini-Wheats!
But like Teresa, I love hot cereal too - stone cut oatmeal, millet, or seven grain cooked with a bit of milk, a tiny knob of butter and some brown sugar. Oh good.
I fluctuate on my faves, but many are on the sugar list. But I'm a kid of the 80's and I was heavily marketed to. I wasn't allowed marshmellow cereals, but I guess there isn't a huge difference, looking now . . .
