Thanksgiving dinner

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.

I spent some of the day writing an article about life insurance (a freelance gig).

Because it's just the two of us, we don't do a turkey ... too much leftover turkey.

Instead we do Cornish Hens. Nothing fancy ... just stuffed with Stove Top Stuffing.

The furkids only get soft (canned) food on special occasions. Here they are chowing down on duck-flavoured.

Their plates were empty so I think they liked it. Ha!

Lots of snoozin' going on now!

We tried Cornish Hens....but never seem to have the patience for the thaw time. Someday we will actually bring a couple home and cook them right away.

Doggie pretty much will not eat canned food....doesn't seem to like the way it smells. I have a couple more cans to try....but haven't found one yet Doggie will eat.

Glad to see that you are having a nice Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to mine...and should start planning. We use my Thanksgiving bonus to have a romantic Thanksgiving Eve dinner.

I didn't realize about the Thanksgiving being on Oct. 11. Happy Thanksgiving!

Once upon a time, a long time ago, I served Cornish hens for Thanksgiving. There were only two people at that event.

Thanks for visiting my new Obsessions and Compulsions blog.

Happy belated Thanksgiving!

Your dinner looked good (and I love stovetop!).

I spent the weekend with my parents and two grandmothers. It was a nice visit, but my nerves were put to the test and the meal extremely bland. But nice!
