Aulde Dubliner, Ottawa, ON

I conducted four retirement planning seminars today.

When I was finished, I took a walk to ByWard Market and walked around a bit.

I had supper at the Aulde Dubliner.

Chia Kitty and I shared a Keith's.

I had a pork chop with apple butter along with pearl barley ... it was delicious!

Pearl Barley??? What happened to mashed potatoes

No mashed potatoes. That's what it came with ... and it was tasty and chewy.

All of these pictures of food (in this post and the previous one) are making me hungry. :)

Oh now I'm craving barley. Mmmm. Maybe a beef and barley soup tonight.

I'd never had pearl barley before either ... it was good. Reminded me of spelt.

Green beans were supposed to come with the dish but I don't like 'em so asked that I not get any.
