I'm not sure I believe in it but I don't disbelieve.
I saw her tonight for it. It lasted 55 minutes and I was there for almost two hours.
I wanted to see if I would "meet" a starving person in my past and that would explain some of my weight issues.
She had me lay on a bed so I'd be comfortable and I chose to have a light sheet over me.
Once she put me under, she told me to imagine myself walking down a beautiful staircase and then through a door. What did I see?
All I could "see" was darkness at first and all of a sudden I physically felt very warm. Barb asked me if I wanted her to remove the sheet but I said no. But I kept saying I was warm and finally let her take the sheet off. She said afterwards that my cheeks had gotten really red when I was saying I was warm ... I could feel that.
Since I was still just seeing darkness, she told me to "turn on a flashlight" so I did.
I'm still trying to get my head around the experience but here's what I "saw":
- A 17-year-old named Ramona who wore a long baby blue dress and matching headdress who lived in a castle. She knew King Henry VIII and liked him. When Barb asked what Ramona did for a living, I replied nothing because she had servants to take care of her. Ramona was very happy and unspoiled and led a carefree life, lacking for nothing. I could see her bedroom, complete with a canopy bed, and a window that looked out onto the water.
Next ... - A 12-year-old boy with blond curly hair who was standing at the water's edge looking out. The waves and sky were both grey and very angry. He was very sad which made me very sad. I got the impression that his parents had drowned. He lived in a sparse hut (just two single beds) on the water's edge. It seemed like it was during Viking times. When Barb asked what he did, I said that he cut wood and had helped his father with the farm/garden (I could see corn stalks). He was all alone.
Next ... - A couple in the late 1960s frolicking on the beach that reminded me of Mexico or Cuba. They were in their early 20s and groovy. She was wearing a bikini and he looked like Christopher Atkins when he was in Blue Lagoon. I kept saying that they were "goofing around", splashing and hugging each other. They were happy and carefree.
Finally ... - A woman wearing a 1950s dress and black curly hair was stuck in something that reminded me of an elevator shaft. It was made of grey cement blocks and had square corners. She was trying to get out and was feeling the blocks (they were cold), going round and round. The ground was dirt. When she looked up, it seemed to go on forever. She yelled a bit for help. Finally she sat in a corner with her arms on her knees and her head on her arms. All of a sudden, a door opened inward and it was very bright and sunny outside. She walked out and discovered she had been locked in a lighthouse and was now standing on the rocks looking out at the water, relishing her freedom. She enjoyed the wind whipping her dress.
Before Barb brought me out of it, she took me back to the four scenarios and asked me to tell her what my lessons were ...
- A reminder to me to stay carefree, have fun and enjoy life.
- Let sadness go and move on.
- When I feel like I am in a "box" and trapped, have patience and eventually it will work itself out.
It's interesting that water played a part in all four scenarios. I adore being by the water!
Have you ever done anything like this?
whoa.. that's pretty cool and interesting. I wouldn't mind doing something like that.
ReplyDeleteFascinating! I've always had an interest in reincarnation, but have never gone to a hypnotist. How cool is that? There seems to be lots of evidence for it, although the reasons vary based on personal beliefs and faiths.
ReplyDeleteOMG no, I've never done anything like that, but it is cool that you have. I've had my fortune told and my cards read which were both very neat.
