Melody Lounge, Gladstone Hotel, Toronto, ON

The last stop on our way home was the Melody Lounge at the Gladstone Hotel.

The Gladstone is celebrating Black History Month. Tonight Adam Solomon and Tikisa (Kenya) were performing there.

A Juno Award winning singer and guitarist, his versatility and excellence has earned him the nickname “the Professor” among fellow musicians. He and his multicultural band play a unique sound combining East African rhythms with Soukous, Makossa and Highlife.

The place was packed!

I didn't understand what they were saying but I was digging the beat!

They were collecting for Haiti.

Here's Gord as we are leaving ...
