I met Gord after work (I conducted a retirement seminar in North Toronto today) at The Rhino, a bar in Parkdale, the 'hood next to ours. Gord likes the Rhino because of its fabulous beer selection (hundreds from around the world).
I hadn't eaten all day and was starving! I had wings (medium sauce) for supper.
They were jumbo, as promised, but kind of bland ... just deep fried with a bit of sauce. The price was cheaper than most places, though.
Gord had fish 'n chips.
The portion was good but he found the fish a bit soggy.
Here's Gord wearing his patriotic but ugly sweatshirt (his mom gave it to him about ten years ago).
The service was really really bad and slow.
Here's Gord outside The Rhino when we left.

The Rhino's service is so slow! I had to give up eating there years ago because it was too stressful -- "Are we going to get served before our lunch hour is over?"
And that's when there'd be two waitresses and two tables of guests. Brutal!
That's basically how it was last night.
You're so funny - Gord's shirt is patriotic but ugly!
