Last week I took Morgan to the vet for a checkup.The vet had said he is healthy (though overweight ... over 17 pounds!), his teeth need cleaning.
I dropped him off at the vet this morning before I left for Vancouver. Gord picked him up this evening.
Everything went well. He ended up having two molars removed in addition to the cleaning.
The vet gave Gord a pair of gloves and a syringe of a codeine gel. Gord has to put 0.05 ml onto his gloved finger and apply it to the hairless part of Morgan's ear every 8-12 hours. It sounds like the vet was nervous about having it on his fingers.
And Morgan is happy to be home.

oh wow. morgan is a big kitty. Glad he is home healthy.
And here's to hoping Gord won't "accidentally" get high while looking after the kitty!
Morgan is so attractive! Poor buddy, overweight just like Beatrice. It is so hard to get them to shed those pounds, huh?
I don't think I would want that job with a kitty - and such a big cat too :p
