Gord and I checked it out.
99 Studio has gone through a couple changes. It was Mildred Pierce for many years, which is now Mildred's Temple a few blocks away.
Then it became Oasi, a fancy restaurant, which didn't work.
When Gord and I arrived around 6:30ish, we were the only ones there. Needless to say, the service was excellent! We sat on the patio.
Appetizers were served for free too ... salmon tartar, lamb sliders, asparagus in tempura, etc. My favourites were the corn chowder and the flatbread with mozzarella, arugula and prosciutto.

Sounds like some advantages to getting there first! Free food and drink ... on a patio to boot, can't beat that!
looks fannnnnnncy!
Just got caught up. Your trip west looked great. Your book reviews were enlightening and your supper club evening made me jealous. Not a bad 20 minutes.
Wish, they had let Mildred Pierece stay there. What an amazing place it was. The new location is nice but it doesn't have the ambiance of the old place. It was one of my fav places to eat and I have great memories of the place. Nice to know that you are getting some perks from it. Enjoy.

Fancy, yummy and delicious - you're photos really make my mouth watering!
Btw dear blog friend: Sorry for being absent for a while. Of course I could have written a lot of excuses, but I guess the most important is to assure you I haven't forgot you (and do appreciate all you're nice comments on mine)!
