Billy's Souvlaki Place, Toronto

To Gord, breakfast without eggs is like a day without sunshine.

Yes, he adores eggs and must have them every day.

We were down to one egg this morning ... gasp!

So we went out for breakfast to a local place called Billy's Souvlaki Place (Dovercourt/Bloor W).

We sat on the patio ...

We both ordered bacon and eggs, home fries and toast.

Though they serve breakfast all day, if you are there before 11am, it's only $5 including tax. That's a lotta food! And it was delicious!

Breakfast always tastes better when someone else makes it, doesn't it?

It looks good, it also tastes better when someone else pays for it! :-)

YUM! I so miss good American-style breakfasts cooked for you. Germans just don't know how to do it...plus they'd probably throw something stupid in there like corn or broccoli to prove that it's "American." Kill me now.
