Congrats, Gord!

Gord was in the Foiling Around Tournament today.

The Foiling Around Tournament is a fun co-ed foil team event for fencers of all ages and all levels of achievement. Teams will be randomly made up of one fencer from each group – the Good, the Better, and the Best. Each of these pools consists of 9 individual bouts of 5 touches.

Gord just started foil fencing this spring (he's been sabre fencing for about five years).

The team he was on came in second ... here they are with their silver medals.

It was an all-day event with lots of fencing.

Way to go, Gord!

  1. How cool! Fun to know someone who does this! You don't meet too many fencers these days! Congrats Gord!

  3. Congrats Gord! I think my oldest would love fencing when he gets a bit older, but alas there is nothing in our neck of the woods for him to particpate in. :(
