There was a BBQ today at work. The management company in the building where I work had their annual Tenants' Appreciation BBQ.
There was a dunk tank of sorts ... you got to throw three balls to hit the target that would release a balloon filled with water on top of someone's head. Here's my colleague, Neil, giving it a go.
Alas, he didn't hit the target.
There was a BBQed lunch.
Burgers, veggie burgers, chicken and sausages ...
There was also pasta salad, potato salad, coleslaw and veggies.
They fed almost 500 people!
The best part is the raffle we could buy tickets for. The prizes were bikes, a BBQ, books, caps and tools signed by Mike Holmes, a couple flat screen TVS, a golf bag, a picnic basket, BBQ tools, digital cameras, home stereo system, luggage and lots more! Sweet!
All the prizes were donated and all the money collected will be given to a children's charity.
I had my eye on a few things but, alas, I didn't win anything.
It's a nice way to get the different companies in the building together and is seemed like everyone had a good time.

That's a nice way to spend a summer afternoon!
Those are some sweet prizes! I never win anything at our functions. The prizes aren't as good, but there are only 80 other staff so you would think my odds were better.....
