One of the cool things (one of many!) about where we live is that the planes go over our place. From Friday onwards, you can hear the roar the planes and see them.
I was talking on the phone with Sister Sarah yesterday afternoon and she could hear them during their show! Some are really really LOUD!
I caught the end of the Snowbirds' show when I got home from the gym this afternoon.
Gord and I stood in the parking lot (we live in a condo in a row of townhouses) and watched.
Very cool!Here they are heading north at the end ...

They flew by our place too. Very loud but very cool.
I went once with joey. The air show was cool. I liked some of the races. But after a while, all the planes they had on display started looking the same.
Very cool - you had a perfect view & didn't have to deal with the crowds. Smart girl. : )
