Snowshoeing tourtière

Remember when Gord made tourtière on New Year's Day for supper?

He made a double batch of the meat mixture and froze it.

And that's what we had for supper tonight!

In the spirit of snowshoeing earlier today, he put a couple snowshoes on the tourtière.

Delicious!

  1. Yummmmmm, someone gave me a tourtière over the Christmas holidays its still sitting in my freezer. I like them but DH is another story. Have to wait to eat it with someone who appreciates it. Looks like you had a fun filled weekend.

  4. Yum, I love tourtiere! My little sis lived in Montreal for a few years and learned to make it...so good!
You have some great photos on your post just before this one, I love the one of you and Gord and the Toronto skyline behind you. That is a great photo!
I also read the one about the book "29 Gifts in 29 Days", I really believe in the power of getting outside of yourself! I try to do that as often as possible. I love to bake, so I will bake something special, take it to church with me and then give it to somebody. It's somebody different every time. I also give baked goods to my one neighbor all of the time. They help us with things all of the time, so that is a small way to say thanks.
I haven't been on my computer much lately, but I wanted to catch up with you!
    Hugs, Cindy
