Toronto was supposed to get hit with a massive storm today ... up to 30cm of snow was expected.
I brought my laptop home yesterday to avoid going in to the office today.
CP24 set proclaimed itself as the "storm watch station".
When I went to bed at 12:30am, there was a light dusting of snow. Here are our steps and patio just before I went to bed.
I got up when Gord left for work just before 7am and there was a bit more snow. It had been quite windy and the cover had blown off our BBQ.
Tons of stuff were cancelled including schools, etc. People were advised to work from home if they could.
KC had no interest in going outside so I finally dragged her out at noon. Here's our street.
She wasn't happy. She had a big pee and then headed back inside.
Here's our patio ... the landscaper/snow removal company (included in our condo fees) had been by and shoveled the steps.
Then big snow started later on this afternoon.
I took KC for a stroll about 4pm ... here's our steps.
Lots of snow-covered cars in our parking lot.
Not hard to tell that our car wasn't moved all day.
We ended up only getting about half of what they had predicted.

I have to giggle as we just had our big dump too, although it takes A LOT to cancel anything here. Stay off the roads if you can, and dress warm. :)
Thanks for the blogoversary wish!
Your pictures make me cold just looking at them. I'm in Alabama so it seems like quite a bit to me. Be safe!
I'll try and send some sunshine your way!
Hi Teena,
I'm sure you aren't too disappointed that the snow fall wasn't worse, how nice that you had a day at home, though!
Have a lovely evening.
Hugs, Cindy
