Ontario Place, Toronto, ON

About noon, Gord and I decided to go for a brisk 5km walk. It was a nice day and we wanted some exercise.

We headed south towards Coronation Park.

Then we headed west towards Ontario Place. Admission is free this summer so we thought we'd check it out. Here's Gord at the entrance.

If you want to do anything besides walk around, you pay.

Great view of downtown from there ...

The water park was popular!

We had a drink on the patio by the water.

There goes the Kajama.

Then we walked around some more.

We had lunch at the Marina Grille.

And off we went again. Here's Gord showing you where we were at that second.

We decided to go on a helicopter ride and had to wait 20 minutes for the next one so we walked around some more.

Here's Gord in front of the window on the Ex grounds as we killed some time.

Another great view of the city!

The Wilderness Adventure Ride is still there.

There was a free show for the kids.

Then we went in the helicopter and walked home.

Though showing it's age, it's still a fun place to go and walk around.

  2. I loved going there to see the Benson and Hedges Symphony of Fire, and it was where I took my first waterslide. Suppose with free admission the waterpark costs $40.oo this hear but the fireworks will be free.
