Heading back to Toronto, I stopped at Acme Burger in Etobicoke (Queensway/Royal York) for lunch. I'd heard they had a good burger so thought I'd check it out.

There were two people ahead of me and we had to wait about ten minutes after an unfriendly fella took our orders. He poured our pops right away. I hate that because they get warm and/or the ice melts.
There are lots of condiments to choose from ... the fella dressing the burgers was friendly.

I'm glad I stopped in and tried this restaurant ... I won't be rushing back, though, as it was just an okay, not great, experience.

Try Apache Burger..same area.. they have great burgers ( or did) and awesome clogging onion rings.
I used to go there when I worked at Bride Magazine.
actually it is bloor and the east mall I get confused in that area
sorry to hear about a sub-par burger experience. I also hate the drink sitting there getting warm. Don't see a clear cup very often.
I love the use of "fella"
LeeAnn: My pal, Monica, lives near Apache so I'll have to check it out sometime.
LOTW: it's wasn't a bad experience, just not as good as I was expecting.
