Continuing where Part 1 left off, this course will teach you the skills you need to begin using depth of field, shutter and exposure settings for proper use of lighting conditions. We'll also shed some light on the fundamentals behind RAW file format.
- An introduction to exposure: aperture, shutter speed and ISO
- Creative use of aperture & shutter speed using your camera's semi automatic exposure modes
- Adjusting ISO for better low light pictures
- Discovering your camera's light metering modes and understanding how & when to use them
- Shooting in RAW format
Daniel during the "shutter" exercise.
It was a good three hours of my time spent learning about aperture, shutter, metering and lots more. I'd recommend the workshops.
Now I just need to get out and use what I learn so it's embedded in my brain before I forget it all!
