Old Triangle Irish Alehouse, Halifax, NS

Sister Sarah and I went to The Old Triangle tonight for a late supper and to hear some Celtic music.

The pub was jammed but we were able share a table near the stage with a couple from Italy on their honeymoon.

As always, my Keith's tasted good. It was especially refreshing since the pub was really warm (there wasn't a lot of air flowing).

Sister Sarah had a Grilled Vegetable Pizza (thin foccacia crust basted with homemade tomato sauce, topped with balsamic grilled peppers, cremini mushrooms, red onion, zucchini, mozzarella cheese). She said it was okay.

I had Killeybegs Style Fish (fresh haddock, beer battered and served with homemade tartar sauce, coleslaw and lemon). It was good.

The band was Scott "Scotty-Dawg" MacDonald and Anthony "Shaggy-Dawg" Rissesco of the Gig Dogs. They were really good and played lots of Celtic songs.

Roger Stone joined them for the second set.

Though there were a lot of people and all the tables were full, couples still found room to dance.

Here are me and Sister Sarah.

I like the Old Triangle. It's a fun place that always seems to have something going on.
