Steve and I had a midday meeting in London today.
We had a late lunch afterwards nearby at Applebee's in the White Oaks Mall.
We were hungry so shared a couple appetizers ... Mozzarella Sticks (golden-fried and served with a tasty marinara sauce) and something that resembled kettle chips with a cheesy dip (I don't know what they were called).
We both ordered Ultimate Trios. Steve got Steak Quesadilla Towers, Chicken Bites and Pulled Pork Sliders.
I got Riblets, Chicken Bites and Pulled Pork Sliders.
At $17 each a trio, they were kind of expensive. In general, we found the food kind of blah and not very tasty. It seemed to be mass produced frozen food.
Steve loves what he calls "lunch dessert" and ordered a Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae (a warm chocolate chip cookie, topped with vanilla ice cream, covered in hot fudge, Oreo cookie crumbs, and chilled whipped cream).
Neither of us were impressed with the food.
Our server was Brianna and she took good care of us. She was very friendly and as helpful as she could be considering she was new.

That's a shame. I always love going to the one in Watertown when I cross the border.
Heart attack on a plate!
Teena, you are the lucky winner over on Steadfast. Once I get the special code for you from Liz at Memorie Suites, I'll email you and you will have your very own copy. Thanks so much for playing along.

kalo liat makanan rasanya gua jadi lapar terus nih... hee..
I've not been to this restaurant in a few years, after having a "meal" at an Applebee's in Bellevue Washington. The food was blah :)
I haven't had many experiences with Applebee's in the past, but the one I do remember, I wasn't that impressed either.
But hey, at least you were taken good care of and you filled up those hungry tummies :)
lol@ lunch dessert! LOVE IT! I also am not completely impressed with Applebee's food. I'd rather spend $$$ on something tastier.
