Early Christmas with Gord's family

Gord's family lives about 2.5 hours NE of Toronto. We drove there this afternoon for an early Christmas celebration. Gord's son, Ken, came with us.

We'll spend the night at Minnie and Keith's, Gord's mom and stepdad. We got there before everyone else so had some time to catch up.

Then Kyle and Kerri arrived with their kids, Madison and Colton. Kyle is Gord's nephew (Kyle's mother, Judy, is Gord's sister).

Here are Minnie and her new great grandson, Colton ... her smile says it all!

Gord's sister, Judy, and her husband, Doug, arrived ... Madison was happy to see her grandpa!

Hanging out before supper ...

Grandma Judy and Colton ...

Suppertime! Minnie had baked a ham and we all brought something (I made potato salad and brought some wine). There were also devilled eggs, coleslaw, macaroni salad, tomatoes, tomato juice, pickles, buns, etc.

After supper, cousins Kyle and Ken ...

Grandpa Doug and Colton ...

Dessert! Doug and Judy made pies ... blueberry and lemon meringue (my favourite!).

Hanging out after a delicious supper ...

Then we opened gifts and hung out some more ...

It was great to see everyone and to meet Colton (he was born in September).
