Montreal work holiday party

I work for a Quebec-based company. Last week we had our Toronto holiday luncheon for all the employees in the Toronto office (about 400 people). Our holiday party for our division (group retirement plans) was tonight at a hotel in Old Montreal. The theme was boogie nights and my Montreal colleagues really got into the spirit, as you'll soon see.

There were nine tables of eight.

First the food! We were given a choice of butternut squash soup or duck. I don't like either but got the duck in case someone else wanted it. Apparently it was just okay.

For our main, we had a choice of steak or salmon ... I got the steak and it was delicious.

Dessert was a choice of crème brûlée or chocolate panache ... I got the crème brûlée and it was good.

Our table was a combination of Toronto and Montreal staff. Natalie, Larissa (she was sitting at another table), Lucia and I work together in the Toronto office.

Danny, Jimmy and Janick work in our Montreal office.

Imran and Natalie work with me in our Toronto office.

Claudine works in our Montreal office and Imran works in our Toronto office ... they are both educators like me.

Here are me and Helene (Montreal).

Here are Janick (Montreal), Steve (Toronto), me and Alice (Calgary).

Here are Steve (Toronto), Karrina, my manager (Montreal), me and Alice (Calgary).

Here are Janick (Montreal), Karrina (Montreal) and Steve (Toronto).

Here are me and David, my manager's manager's manager (Montreal).

There was a talent show. This group was lip syncing to Heart.

Another group lip synced to ABBA.

A couple of Sonny & Cher combos.

The Toronto office sang the "Twelve Days of Pensions" (or something like that). Here are Peter, Natalie, Lucia and Maria getting ready.

There was a DJ playing 80s tunes which kept the crowd dancing.

It was a fun time and great to hang with everyone in such a relaxed atmosphere. I'm looking forward to next year!
