Super 8 Hotel, Barrie, ON

I have one-on-ones to conduct all day today, starting first thing in this morning.

Rather than getting up and leaving early this morning, I drove up yesterday afternoon and stayed at the Super 8 Barrie.

I like staying in different hotels so checked to see what Trip Advisor advised for Barrie. Super 8 was #1. I'm leery about staying at Super 8 Hotels ... I stayed at one years ago and it was a dump. But I went with Trip Advisor's recommendation.

Here is my room ... it's huge.

You know I was going to have a bath! I brought piña colada scented bubble bath.

There was a mini fridge and microwave oven in my room. Parking was free as is WIFI. There was a complimentary continental breakfast with hot options. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are lots of choices within walking distance (like Jack Astor's across the street and East Side Mario's next door).

I kept hearing a doorbell after I woke up this morning ... then I realized it was the elevator arriving on my floor (my room is right next to it). It was a bit annoying. And it was quite loud when people opened and closed their doors. So if you are a light sleeper, this isn't the place for you.

I'd stay here again.
