Michael Rafferty guilty of murdering Tori Stafford


Excellent news!

Michael Rafferty has been found guilty of first-degree murder, sexual assault causing bodily harm and kidnapping in the death of Victoria (Tori) Stafford, the eight-year-old girl who disappeared outside her Woodstock, Ont., school three years ago.

This is good news; this man has been brought to justice. That lovely child, it's so sad. My prayers are with her family.

I swear, everywhere you turn now and days you see the face of a missing child or college student or mom...It's so sad what society has come to.

Even though this is a tragic story at least it's ending is one where the bad guy got caught!

That was such a grim story. I wish there was something worse in store for killing pedophiles than just jail. Like hard labor on a desert island maybe? Or cleaning up Fukushima?
