Delta St. John's Hotel and Conference Centre, St. John's, NL

Gord and I spent four days in St. John's this week and stayed at the Delta.

We chose it because it seemed close to everything.  George Street and the harbour are about a five minute walk away.

We were supposed to arrive in St. John's on Saturday night and head to St. Pierre on Sunday evening.  When our flight got cancelled on Saturday and we didn't get here 'til Sunday, we had nowhere to leave our suitcases for the day.  There are no lockers at the airport or downtown and there were no rental cars available.  The only thing we could think of was to grab a cab to the Delta and ask if they could hold our bags for the day while we walked around.  Thankfully they said yes.  That was soooo nice of them.

We arrived back in St. John's first thing Wednesday morning on an early flight from St. Pierre.  We got to the hotel about 9:30am and figured our room wouldn't be ready yet because it was so early (hotel policy is that you usually you can't get into your room until 4pm).  Happily they had a couple cleaned.  Yay!  So we were able to settle into our room right away.

Here's our room ... it was big and comfy.

Here's our view ...

I would stay here again.
