Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours, St. John's, NL

This afternoon, Gord and I did the 4pm ocean tour with Iceberg Quest.

Here's our boat.

We were entertained while we waited to board.

It was a great day to be out on the water ... warm and sunny.

As we were heading out of the harbour towards the ocean, we passed a Canadian Forces ship and the soldiers waved at us ... we clapped and waved back.

There were spectacular views as we headed out of the harbour.

We had a lot of humpback whale sightings and they flipped their tales at us.  It was an awesome sight!  Here goes one ...

Our captain was always on the lookout for more whales.

Kevin Callan, the Happy Camper, was onboard filming a road show in Newfoundland.

We headed out to Cape Spear, the easternmost point in North America.

Here's Gord.

Here I am!

And here are Gord and I.

When we got back into the harbour, we parked next to the big boats.

It was a fabulous boat tour and something you have to do if you are in St. John's.
