This evening the Toronto Alumni Chapter held an event for alumni, friends and family (Gord came as my guest).
It started with drinks and appetizers at the Loose Moose . There were pitchers of Keiths draft and platters of pulled pork sliders, quesadillas, spring rolls, etc. Yum! It was a good chance to mingle and meet other alumni ... graduating years represented were from 1962 right up to 2012.
Then we were off to Blue Jays game ... there were 86 of us!
We were in the 517 section and had a great view of the game.
The CN Tower was over my right shoulder.
Here are me and Gord.
I met Michele at the Loose Moose and discovered that not only did we start at St.F.X. at the same time (September 1980) but we lived in the same residence (Camden) ... she was on the second floor and I was on the fourth floor. We probably knew each other back then. Here we are flashing our "X" rings.
Here are some shots during the game.
It was a fun night. Thanks to the Alumni Committee for organizing such a fun event and I look forward to attending lots more! I can see why the Toronto Chapter is the alumni chapter of the year.
