Toronto FC 0, Sporting Kansas City 1

Malcolm and Mary have season's tickets for the Toronto Football Club (FC).  They couldn't use their tickets for today's game and gave them to Gord and I.  Whoohoo!

Toronto FC is one of three Canadian professional soccer clubs which competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) (there are 19 teams in the league).

The FC are in last place in the league and Kansas City is in second place (first place in our division).

Our seats were on the east side of BMO Field in the sun.

The FC's goal was to right of us for the first half.

Kansas City's goal was on the left side.

Here are some shots of the players (the FC are in red, though our goalie was in yellow).

After the first half (47 minutes), the score was zero.  After a 14 minute intermission, the game was back on.

The fans really gets behind the FC, especially the south end ... they are fun, loud and boisterous!

Alas, Kansas City scored and the final score was 1-0 when the game ended after 94 minutes.

Here are Gord and I after the game, wearing red to support the FC.

Though we lost, it was fun!  Thanks, Malcolm and Mary!
