Fisherman's Cove, Eastern Passage, NS

Sister Sarah and I drove to Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage.

Fisherman's Cove is both frozen in time and constantly evolving. Nestled in a centuries old fishing community, they're home to a unique collection of gift shops, museums and art galleries, delicious restaurants, coffee and bake shops, ice-cream canteens and fish n' chip shacks.

Because it's off-season, a lot of the shops were closed but it was fun to walk around ... I love being by the water.

In addition to the shops, it also functions as a fishing wharf.

Sister Sarah and I made a friend!

I never knew this place existed until today.  Thanks, Sister Sarah, to taking me.  I imagine it's an awesome place in the summer with all the shops open.

  1. I adore this place and try to go every time I am down home. It's even more special to me now, because I discovered it with Mom.

It's kinda like one of those "secret spots", that once discovered you'll always revisit.
