Foggy Dew, Toronto, ON

Gord and I met my pal, Liz, and her beau, Jamie, for supper tonight at the Foggy Dew (King W/Niagara).

Liz and I worked together back in the mid to late nineties.  Liz and Jamie have been together for about a year and it was the first time we've met him (usually it's just the girls who get together).

The pub was fairly busy and we grabbed a table in the corner.

Jamie and Liz order the Cottage Pie (slow cooked Angus beef with peas and carrots in a rich Guinness and fresh herb gravy, topped with sweet potato mash and served with a house salad).  They both said it was delicious!

Gord ordered the Smokehouse Mac 'n Cheese.  He said it was good but a bit salty.  He found it filling and and ended up bringing a lot home.

I ordered the Beer Battered Fish & Chips ... the fish was delicious!

Jamie and Liz had room for dessert so split a Molten Eruption ... doesn't it look amazing!?

And here were are ... Jamie, Liz, Gord and I.

It was great to catch up with Liz and meet Jamie, who we give two thumbs up!
