Kensington Market, Toronto, ON

It was such a nice day today  (sunny and hot).

Gord and I didn't feel like being stuck in the house so we walked to Kensington Market, which is about a half hour walk NE of us.

It was Pedestrian Sunday so cars weren't allowed to drive on the street.

It was nice to be able to walk around without worrying about cars.  The streets are so narrow ... I don't know why they allow cars in there anyway.

There were lots of buskers.

One Monster After Another were good ... they played bluegrass.

The traditional English Morris Dancers were fun to watch.

I don't know what this guy was playing but he was really into it.  It made me want to meditate.

You can buy anything and everything in the Market.

Yep, there are plants growing out of this car.

We hadn't been to the Market in a while so it was fun to walk around and hang for a while.

Looks fun! We have something similar in Boston, but it's always so darn crowded that I haven't been in years.

Yes, this would be my most favourite spot in Toronto, especially on Sundays with the many occasional flea markets. Did you find anything special? Great photos, have a look at my photo essay from this year's Kensington Pedestrian Weekends!
