Sheraton on the Falls, Niagara Falls, ON

I was at a pension and benefits conference in Niagara Falls from Wednesday 'til today.

It was held at the Sheraton on the Falls and that's also where everyone stayed ... there were hundreds of us.

Here's my room (it's a waste to give me a room with two queen beds but they had no rooms with king beds) ...

 The bathroom had a TV!

Here are some views from my window.  Wednesday afternoon ...

 Yesterday about 7:30am ...

Yesterday about 4:45pm ...

It's an older hotel (unlike the newer ones that have sprouted up in the distance) but it is in a good spot to walk to the Falls or head up Clifton Hill.

The room was $149/night.  WIFI was included because we were here for the conference (I don't know how much it is otherwise) and it was speedy.  Parking was $30/night if you wanted it valet parked or $8/night (a special rate for us ... I think it's usually $15/night) if we parked our car ourselves.  The parking lot is a block away and I parked my car.

The bed was comfy.  There is a basic bathtub and I used it both nights.

My one complaint is that the A/C in my room didn't work and my room was always warm and stuffy.  I had the A/C cranked down to 61F but it always felt like 81F.  Needless to say, I never needed to use the fireplace.  I had my window open whenever I was in the room and even had it open for a while at night when I slept.  The thunder of the falls didn't bother me ... but I got paranoid that a bird was going to fly in (there are no screens).

If the price was right, I'd stay here again.
