Though our hotel provided a free continental breakfast, Gord and I met Mary and Malcolm for brunch this morning at Golden Griddle, which was next door to our hotel.
The restaurant was jammed ... lots were taking advantage of the buffet.
Malcolm, Gord and I ordered eggs, toast, bacon and homefries. Mary got pancakes instead of eggs.
It was okay. The yolks were a bit overdone and the toast kind of small and crumpled (Gord's was a bit burnt). But it did the trick ... we had full bellies for the drive home to Toronto.

Golden Griddle always does the job - even if it's not the best greasy spoon around. I used to always hit the Golden Griddle with one of my closest friends, Amanda, every time we had a night out and stayed over at eachother's homes.
I always get stuffed when I go out for breakfast - no matter what I eat. I think it's because I eat real light when I'm at home.
Look good! Looks like you had a fun filled busy weekend.
I haven't been to many Golden Griddles.
i don't think there is anything i love more than going out for breakfast! YUM!!!
Reading your past few posts has really taken me down memory lane! I was born and raised in Hamilton. I only left about 10 years ago, and now I live in Toronto. It's been a pleasure reading your posts and consider me a new follower! Thanks for stopping by my Kobo Vox post.
