From Goodreads ~ The city of Ludlow is gripped by the hottest July on record. The asphalt is melting, the birds are dying, petty crime is on the rise, and someone in Hannah Wagnor’s peaceful suburban community is killing girls.

This is the first book by this author that I've read and I liked it. It is a YA book but I didn't find it read that way ... I didn't find it was too immature for me. It is written in Hannah's voice. The language gets mature towards the end. I liked the characters and thought they interacted well with each other. It's a murder mystery but also a coming of age story.
In my opinion, anyone 15+ would enjoy this book.
I received a copy
of this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review.
