Toronto Rock 13, Minnesota Swarm 12

Gord and I went to the Toronto Rock's game tonight ... they were playing the Minnesota Swarm.

The Toronto Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise founded in 1998. They are members of the Eastern Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL).

Before the game, we had a hot dog at the Dog House.

There were lots to choose from.

You could even get a hot dog wrapped in bacon!

I just got a regular hot dog.

Gord got a footlong hot dog.

The Rock cheerleaders entertained before the game started.

Here come the Rock!

Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

And then the game started ...

Rosie started in nets.  He was pulled from the game for a while because the Swarm were scoring on him but returned in the fourth quarter.

It was a rough game and there were a few penalties.

After the first quarter, the Rock was winning 4 - 2.  Yay!

After the second period, though, the Swarm were winning 7 - 6.  Oh oh!

Do you think these guys are fans?

The attendance at tonight's game was 10,504.

After the third quarter quarter, the Swarm were winning 12 - 10.  Oh oh!

They drew the 50/50 ticket ... sweet prize!

Alas, we didn't win it.

This girl was sitting in front of us and obviously wasn't into the game.

Here are me and Gord.

With just over 14 minutes to go, the Rock tied the game.

Six minutes to go, the Rock took the lead.  Whoohoo!

Iggy was in the crowd.  Go Rock, go!

The Rock hung onto their lead and won 13 - 12 ... yippee!  Great game!

Here's Gord in his Rock gear.
