Sunnyside, Toronto, ON

When I woke up this morning, I had the urge to go to the beach.

So what if it was overcast and 0C (32F)?!  I needed to be near the water.

I drove to Sunnyside, which isn't too far from home.

Here's the Sunnyside Pavilion.

Considering the amount of snow we had last week, I thought there would be more there.  I headed west along the Martin Goodman Trail towards Humber Bay Arch Bridge.  The boardwalk was fairly slippery in some spots.  There were a few people out walking, some with dogs.

I went across the bridge.

I sat on a rock for a while and enjoyed the view.

I got cold so it was time to get moving and I headed back across the bridge and towards Sunnyside.

Such a nice refreshing walk!  I love being by the water.
