Wheat Sheaf, Toronto, ON

My pal, Shawna, moved back to Regina in July. She came to Toronto for the long weekend.  Whoohoo!

Gord and I met her at the Wheat Sheaf for supper tonight.  Her friends, Cheryl and Sally, also joined us.  It's been a while since I've been there.

It was quiet when we got there at 5pm but busy when we left about 8pm.

Sunday to Tuesday are half price wing nights (after 5pm).

The girls ordered wings ... mine were medium and they were good!  Half price is a great deal!

Gord ordered a Drunken Chicken sandwich with onion rings.  He said it was good.

Here are Shawna, me and Gord.

I saw Shawna when I was in Regina last month and it was great to see her again and catch up.

Our server took good care of us.  The music, though, was really loud and it was hard to talk at times.

Always nice to catch up with an old friend. Sound like you had a good time.

Don't you love catch ups? Coffee dates are so overrated. I vote chicken wing date! Now I want wings.
