After Gord and I left Fort York, we stopped in at Bar Wellington.
It was such a nice day (sunny and 17C) and we were able to get a seat on the upper patio.
After all the walking we did, our beers tasted good!
We were snacky so we shared an order of nachos.
They weren't great. We didn't care for the double smoked mozzarella and some of it wasn't melted.
Plus I noticed that people who ordered nachos after us had more chips. It wasn't worth $16 and I wouldn't order them again.
The patio was a great spot to people watch, though. There were lots of people walking their dogs in Victoria Square which is kittycorner to the bar.
Earlier in the park there had been a ceremony commemorating the Royal Newfoundland Regiment.
.
Some of the re-enactors were next to us on the patio and we had fun chatting with them.
Here's something you don't see often!
